 About Ballet

Ballet is a basic part of rhythmic gymnastics. Rhythmic gymnastics combines ballet and creative movements to music, while working with ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes, and clubs.

Taking part in daily choreography exercises will help develop upright posture, arms and foot positions, which are the basic elements of rhythmic gymnastics. The gymnast  starts feeling the positions of balances, jumps and turns through the basic elements such as battement tondu, jete, fondu, it means that the gymnast will start feeling her body, which allows her to do more complicated elements and understand her mistakes. Rising in releve gymnast should feel her body tension from the tip toes to the top of her head through all the muscles: ball of foot, knees, hips, pelvis, belly, shoulder blade, neck, shoulders, arms and head. Thus, gymnast can take any beautiful position without a moment’s hesitation only if she has devoted great amount of time to choreography lessons.

Our classes are designed to develop grace in movement, muscular strength/flexibility and build self-confidence all of which are enhanced through ballet programme. We are committed to providing a safe, fun and positive learning environment for the students.
